How Does It Work?

The service is a simple one - provide care for any animal within the comfort of their own home. So how does it all work?

Registration

Upon receiving your booking or enquiry, we will send a carer to your home to complete a registration form with you. This is usually done in an evening, as it is most convenient for everyone. This gives us the chance to get all the important details on record (vet & emergency contacts, payment preferences etc), plus learn from you everything we need to know to take proper care of your pets - feeding routines, walking paths and any special information that might help us during the service period.

Service Provision

A carer will visit your home as many times as you wish during the time you are away. For most animals we recommend a minimum of daily visits, dogs & cats sometimes more, but some smaller pets require less - this will all be discussed during registration.

During the visit, the carer will usually conduct the following duties: -

Feeding and changing of waterWalking (if appropriate!)Cleaning of litter or back yardOverall check of home - check for any forced entry, damage, leaks etcBring in the post & papersAlternate lights, open/close curtains etc - to give a lived in look if desired.

Completion

On finishing we will do final checks of the property to make sure everything is ready for your arrival home, and even leave some milk for a tea/coffee if your trip has been an extended one. You know you will return to a secure, clean home and a happy pet - drop your bags and put your feet up!
